Indeed is the best source for job searching. Indeed includes a simple, but sophisticated job search engine which searches across all the major job search sites, including Hotjobs.com, Monster.com, Careerbuilder.com, as well as hard to find listings on Craigslist.

Careerbuilder.com
Careerbuilder has been known to have the largest number of jobs listed. However, among the top job sites, careerbuilder.com is not the most user friendly, nor has the name recognition of Monster.com. Be aware that careerbuilder.com is a subsidiary of Knight-Ridder.

Monster.com
Monster.com has the name as the top job site on the web, due to a combination of a great brand advertising campaign and great features.

Hotjobs.com
Since Yahoo acquired hotjobs, not much has changed. It is still a great job site to use to look for work.

RegionalHelpWanted.com
Not well know, but at least the fourth largest website with job listings.

Dice
Dice.com is used by Information Technology professionals to look for work.

Craigslist
Craigslist has a lot of job listing and has the unique position of having mostly direct employment compared with the other big job listing sites.
